Paul Heyman: I think Dana White would love to have Brock Lesnar back – UFC News
Brock Lesnar’s on-air WWE representative and the co-author of Lesnar's autobiography ‘Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination and Survival’ Paul Heyman is fighting the former UFC heavyweight champion’s case for induction in UFC Hall of Fame.
Talking about the entire scenario with MMAJunkie.com, Paul Heyman insisted that Brock Lesnar is one of the UFC’s all time greats and so he should be inducted in the Hall of Fame.
“I think Dana White would love to have Brock Lesnar back,” said Heyman after highlighting Brock Lesnar’s achievements during his short stay in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. “I think Lorenzo Fertitta would love to have Brock Lesnar back. Does Brock
Lesnar want to go back? I don't think Brock has anything to prove in the UFC anymore. He's 35 years old. He made a lot of money in the UFC.”
Since fans are demanding Lesnar’s return to the UFC, Heyman believes there is no need for the former champion to do so.
“(Lesnar) His house and his farms and his cars and everything that he owns is paid for. Why would he go in and risk injury and concussions and risk any kind of physical damage when he doesn't need to?”
Furthermore, Heyman revealed that Lesnar has bank accounts worth of ‘millions and millions’ and so he has no need to get in cage to fight again by putting his health on the line. Heyman does not see a reason for Lesnar’s another run as UFC champion. He believes
‘the baddest dude on the planet’ has done it all.
Lesnar is currently participating in the World Wrestling Entertainment. He left the WWE in 2004 and joined the UFC in 2008. He became the youngest heavyweight champion in WWE and similarly in the UFC. Now, Lesnar is looking forward to grab the WWE heavyweight
title once again.
Heyman is of the view that Brock Lesnar has achieved everything a fighter could in UFC. Therefore, according to Heyman, Brock Lesnar should be inducted to the Hall of Fame, regardless of the fact that his era was a short one compared to others.
