  1. quality player, quite the lady's man too.

    won 3 masters titles.

im really upset by this as all seemed to be going well on the surface, he still played even though he was riddled with it and was having chemo, now thats amazing.

snooker will miss you paul :(

  2. Truthfully, I have never heard of him. But that is tragic to die so young.

  3. RIP Paul Hunter. No doubt he would have been World champion. Showed tremendous resolve playing while he was having chemotherapy.

  4. Very sad. My condolences to his family.

  5. Who's Paul Hunter and what the h**l is snooker?  Is this some sort of sport?

  6. I've only recently begun to learn about Snooker, and Paul Hunter was one of the few players whose matches I've been able to watch online.  He was extremely talented.  I've been a pool player all my life and I can appreciate the skill level that Paul possessed in his game.  Truly a shame.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  7. not really, no, as i didnt know him.

This is for asking questions, its not the small ads...births deaths and marriages.

The headline, dosent make the subtitle, qualify it as a question.

someone died, im sad.....lets use q&a ? bit lame.

  8. Absolutely gutted, the guy was only two months older than me and it's a very scary thought indeed.

Easily my favourite player and the reason i ever got mesmorised into a game, it was his comeback at the masters a few years back against Ronnie O'Sullivan.

    A very sad day.

  9. very sad to hear about paul may he rest in peace.

  10. Very sad news indeed, he leaves a wife and baby daughter so sad.. PAUL HUNTER,,R.I.P.

  11. Absolutely. I didn't know him personally, but I knew him. I didn't think much of him and didn't think he was a great snooker player but, he was a sportsman that I didn't dislike. So therefore, am sad to hear this horroble news.

  12. noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ways

  13. so sad, i don't watch snooker, but no one should go out at 27, his poor parents, it is inconceivable the pain they must be going through, and his family if he is married.

Lets hope he's gone to a better place with no more pain or suffering.

  14. god bless him,and his family,[well reported].hope he is in a better place now,god bless

  19. Very,very sad.My favourite is dead.R.I.P dear Paul.

  20. Steve love snooker sorry to hear about his death.!!!

  21. Its sad to die at such a young age. A man with the talent he so obviously had should have been around to fufill his potential. RIP

  22. Yes, I cannot believe it. I really thought he'd pull through. He was 20 days younger than me, from Yorkshire as I am. Sadly he leaves behind a wife and young daughter. I will never understand how whoever it is decides who lives and who dies. How is it fair that someone with his life in front of him, his daughters whole life in front of her, and someone so obviously at the top of his game, can be so cruelly taken away.

RIP Paul. You will be greatly missed.

  23. absolutely gutted when i found out this morning... i really thought that he was getting beter, he leaves behind a wife and a nine month old daughter too, a young man with a young family... y does it happen to good people i dont know... snooker will miss him, he brought a bit of status to it and got people interested in the game... he played through the pain he was dedicated and a great talent. r.i.p paulie... x
