Paul Konerko appreciates teammate Adam Dunn’s preparations – MLB News
The Chicago White Sox are preparing hard for the next Major League Baseball season since the offseason has been started. The entire roster looks in great shape and the way they all have been performing in this year’s Spring Training, is certainly amazing.
Team management along with senior members of the roaster are praising one another and appreciating the way things have been shaping up for them.
Recently, the White Sox veteran first baseman Paul Konerko came out in the media and spoke well for his teammate Adam Dunn, who has once again proved his game during the offseason Spring Training in Arizona’s Cactus League.
Playing a key role in the White Sox’s new offensive strategy, Dunn certainly maintained his pace and won many games for his team. His teammate, Paul Konerko, knows him game quite well and for some years now, also stated confidently that Dunn is playing good
lately and if his form continued, the desired level of consistency will soon be possible attain for the team.
Paul Konerko said , “Oh, he looks dangerous, Even somebody who doesn’t know anything about hitting can see when he’s getting fastballs, he’s taking a lot of dangerous swings.’’
Konerko added, “The numbers down here can be skewed by the fields and the air, but everything he has done is totally translatable to the season, Home runs he’s hit would be homers, the base hits would be base hits and the walks, obviously. That’s what you
look for as a player. It’s about doing damage, When you’re doing damage when you do hit it, strikeouts don’t matter. In fact, they’re better than a double play.”
On different points of views’, this is certainly a good sign for the White Sox. White Sox had been playing poorly for last two seasons and their one of the best players now coming in from which will ultimately help them to rise once again showing the other
Major League teams that how well their game is to win titles. While this will also help Dunn on his personal game as he is feeling better and also in high spirits.
