English Premier League side Aston Villa have confirmed the appointment of Paul Lambert as their new manager, who will replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 McLeish.
Alex McLeish was sacked as the Aston Villa manager after a highly disappointing finish in the English Premier League. The side were even involved in the relegation battle, but managed to avoid the drop, though that did not save Alex McLeish.
Following interest from Aston Villa, Paul Lambert offered his resignation to Norwich City which was not immediately accepted. However, Villa seem to have reached an agreement with the manager and they announced in an official statement.
A statement released by the club stated:
“The board of Aston Villa are delighted to confirm that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Lambert has been appointed Villa manager.”
After the news, Norwich have begun looking for a new manager and also released a statement regarding the departure of Paul Lambert. The club thanked Lambert for his services to the club and wished him the best in wherever he went.
It said:
“We would once again like to place on record our sincere gratitude to Paul for everything he has done for the club - everybody at Carrow Road wishes him all the best for the future.”

McNally said:
“Paul Lambert has been fantastic for this football club for three years and he will quite rightly take his place in Norwich City history and we will always be very grateful to Paul for his achievements here.”
