Out of the trio, Brampour and Zarkandar hold first and second spots respectively in weights. Empire Levant is ranked 12th among 22 star runners, who are set to test their mettle on February 11 at Newbury racetrack. The 2 mile
long Grade 3 contest will start at 3:45 on the weekend.
Along with Nicholls’ threesome, Get Me Out Of Here, Final Approach, Marsh Warbler, Soldatino, Darlan, Via Galilei, Sire De Grugy, Desert Cry, Third Intention, Alarazi, Raya Star, Ubi Ace, Ciceron, Olofi, Rigidity, Ericht, Abergavenny, Attaglance and
Double Ross are lined up for the high-voltage contest.
Each of Nicholls’s three entries possesses immense talent and form.

As a whole, the five-year-old gelding has won 5 out of his total 15 races so far, earning £162,887 in the process. His victories include 2 Flat Turf and 3 Hurdle races. Bred by Haras De Son Altesse L’Aga Khan S C E A, he is owned by Banks, Blackshaw

Zarkandar too has an impressive track record. Starting his career in July, 2010, the young gelding has won 4 out of his 6 starts so far. With 1 Flat Turf and 3 Hurdle wins, he has earned £144,445 to date.
Owned by Potensis Limited & Chris Giles, the gelding registered a fabulous hat-trick by winning three races in a row from February 2011 to April 2011.
As far as Empire Levant is concerned, the talented gelding enjoys fifty percent success ratio in his career, which began in March 2010. Out of his 10 starts so far, he has won five, including 3 Flat Turf and 2 Hurdle.
Most of the racing experts strongly believe that Nicholls will walk away with the Betfair Hurdle title tomorrow as one of his grand trio is destined to win the high-stakes event.
