  10. actually the boston celtics defense dominated kobe. not paul pierce alone.

Kobe gave up in those finals after about the third game.  Boston had a steel curtain defense that wouldn't  let him do anything he normally does and he didn't have the heart to fight back and keep fighting.  He gave up after he couldn't convince his teamates to play with heart and let the game go.

  12. I don't think Paul Pierce dominated Kobe, but the Celtics as a team dominated Kobe.
