Former Australian fast bowler, Paul Reiffel, has been appointed in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Test umpiring panel and will shortly leave for the Caribbean to officiate in his first Test in the upcoming two-match series between West Indies

Reiffel will become the second Test player in history to make his Test umpiring debut. At present, former Sri Lankan off-spinner http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Handunnettige-Deepthi-Priyantha-Kumar-Dharmasena-c61394 is the only other Test player to be among the ICC's official umpiring panel. The Sri Lankan has also made it
for the first time to the ICC’s 12-member Elite Panel, recently announced by the governing body.
