Former Manchester United midfielder and England international, Paul Scholes has gone on to launch a new attack on Arsenal and their pretty football. While doing so, the midfielder has also gone on to state that Samir Nasri should quit the Gunners and join
the Red Devils instead.
Paul Scholes went on to retire from football at the end of last season, which saw him land his 10th Premier League title with the club.
At the age of thirty six, the midfielder retired with six hundred and seventy six appearances under his belt and after playing seventeen seasons with the Red Devils.
Nonetheless, even in his off time, it seems like the player is still playing for United, as he seems to be launching some very serious attacks on the Gunners.
When talking about Arsenal, Scholes is quoted to have said: “Arsenal just flatter to deceive.
“They may play the prettiest football, but it doesn’t always produce the results they need.
“People talk about Arsenal as supposedly the best footballing team in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.”
Scholes then turned his attention o what really seemed to bother him about Arsenal, as he went on to add:
“That doesn’t irritate me, because while they’re doing that, we’re winning.”
“They do play the best football to watch at times, but what’s the point of that if you’re not winning anything?”
Based on what Scholes has to say, there is very little that any Arsenal player, fan or member of the board can say to argue with him.
Over the course of the last six years, the Gunners have gone on to win absolutely nothing. With the likes of Birmingham City and even Manchester City going to win something last season, it seems rather amazing that the Gunners trophy cabinet at the Emirates
is still bone dry.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 have time and time again seemed to be on the brink of winning it all, but in the end, their nerves almost always get the better of them and ultimately cause them to falter.
As a result, many of the teams star players are expected to be on their way out of the club. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360, is one of those players and Paul Scholes has gone on to show his admiration for the player.
Scholes has stated that Nasri is one of the best midfielders in the business and with him being linked to United, the only obvious move would be for him to jump ship and go to Old Trafford.
Should Arsenal continue the way they are, then it seems more than likely for Nasri to actually add to Arsenal’s miseries and make the switch.
