Manchester United legend and former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 midfielder, Paul Scholes has gone on to admit that he isn’t very keen on returning to Old Trafford as a coach.
The midfielder was offered a coaching role at the club by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson and it is now up to Scholes to decide if he wants to take up the offer or not.
Scholes went on to admit to the fact that he wanted to be a part of United, but so far he just hadn’t thought of how to do so. However, with this offer now being presented to him, he has a wide array of option available in front of him.
The former great, being the modest man that he is, admitted that the main reason for him not being too keen on the job, is because his knowledge is very limited when it comes to coaching. However, considering he has countless experience as a player, he feels
it would be wrong not to share his knowledge with the younger players at the club.
The midfielder went on to admit that he didn’t plan on retiring at the start of the year, which is why deciding what to do in the future is so challenging for him.
Scholes is quoted to have said: "A couple of years ago I felt like my career was never going to end, so you don't think about what to do in the future in the same way as I have done over the past six months"
He then admitted that considering all he ever did was play football, coaching might just prove to be the ideal way for him to carry on his legacy.
"Football is the only thing I know a little bit about so I am going to give the coaching a go.”
The midfielder then concluded by stating that he wouldn’t push his luck at his new http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 and should it not work out, he would call it quits.
Scholes ended by adding: "If it doesn't work or I am not very good at it I won't carry on doing it."
Scholes as we all know, is one of the greatest midfielders to ever play in the Premier League. The midfielders ability to read the game and make killer passes, is something that the league might never see again.
Nonetheless, with him now on the United coaching squad, the younger players at the team are going to be given some of the best guidance that they could ever use and hence would help the team breed some talented midfielders for the future.
