  2. A few months ago I was asked to teach a class based on Paul Sills Story Theatre and for the first time ever delved into his concepts and work. It was a wonderful opportunity to revisit Viola Spolin and her improv goodies. Paul Sills contributed so much to the world of theatre and without him we would be missing out on so many wonderful talented gems. He has left a legacy.

  3. I was producing improv children theatre in New York and Viola Spolin sat in on rehearsals. And I attended several private workshops with Paul Sills.

Also I was in school in Chicago during the first years of Second City . Attended many performances by the masters of the improv.

The lesson I learned from Paul is to never repeat yourself but always reach for a new statement.
