Paul Williams, Chris Arreola, Tavoris Cloud to create havoc on SHO Extreme – Boxing news
Showtime, the apex boxing entertainment provider, has stacked up a series of shows for the upcoming weekends.
According to the updates, boxing fanatics will witness on Saturday, February 18, 2012, Paul Williams, the former two-time welterweight champion, Tavoris Cloud, current IBF Champion, and Chris Arreola, the present WBC FECOMBOX heavyweight champion in action.
The trio will make up a huge pay-per-view by the name Showtime Extreme or SHO Extreme which will be televised from American Bank Center situated in Corpus Christi in Texas, United States. The whole extravaganza will literally bring the Texan inhabitants
out of their houses to fill the 9200-seater arena.
Paul Williams, infamous as the Punisher, has a huge resume. He has been in a total 42 brawls and has conquered 40 of his opponents. Impressively he has won 27 of his clashes by knockout. Since 2000 he has lost just two bouts. Paul is scheduled to take on
Nobuhiro Ishida, the Japanese proud and number one middleweight pugilist. The 12-round bout between these two prolific men will headline Showtime’s main event.
Tavoris Cloud, renowned as the Thunder, is a light heavyweight pugilist who has been in a total 23 bouts and startlingly hasn’t lost even a single bout. He possesses a seriously threatening knock out ratio of 82.61% which shows the brutal lethalness of the
current IBF champion. Cloud will take on the Spanish Chico Guapo, Gabriel Campillo and will put his IBF light heavyweight title on the line. The brawl will have 12 rounds of sheer pounding unless the Mexican number one comes up with a plan to counter the Thunder.
Chris Arreola, the American Nightmare, will try his level best to knock the senses out of Eric Molina. Chris and Molina are bound to take on each other in a 12-round fight lying in the heavyweight division. Chris only has a slight upper hand over Molina.
When it comes to experience, Chris has only lost two bouts in a total of 36. He has collected 29 of his wins by knocking the other man out hence achieving a huge knock out ratio of 80.56%.
On the other hand, Molina has been in a total 19 skirmishes in the squared ring and has come out victorious in 18. He lacks Chris both in experience and knock out ratio but only at an ignorable level. Molina’s knock out ratio is 73.68%. Both men will enter
the ring to fight for sheer honour since no title is on the line.
Showtime has literally come up with a huge and epic pay-per-view since all these men are impressive pugilists in their respective divisions. Let’s wait and see whether the men put forth the world a brawl to remember or not.
