Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis represent the US at the Evian Masters
The Evian Masters is about to start and all top golfers will be there. From the US, two players of note, Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis, will participate.
These two players are among the most recognized faces in women golf today. Their reputation is based on the top quality golf that they have played over the years. Both Creamer and Gulbis have a fair chance of making it into the top-10 and make their country
proud.
When it comes to choosing one from these two, many experts will put their money on Paula Creamer. This is not to say that Natalie Gulbis is a lesser player.
Gulbis is a very competent player who is an impressive sight both on and off the course. It is the fact that Creamer has more international exposure that makes many fans and experts prefer her over Gulbis.
What kind of performance could the fans and observers expect from these two American stars? The answer of this question lies in a short analysis of their performance this year.
For Creamer, the year has been great so far. With four top-10 finishes under her belt, she is going strong in the almost every tournament she plays in. Her recent performance at the US Women’ Open proved once again that Creamer is an excellent player.
Before her tie for the 7th place in the US Open, she played in Wegmans LPGA Championship in June this year. She was placed in the 9th position. With this record, Creamer is sure to move in the top-10 of the Evian Masters, early in the
tournament.
Natalie Gulbis is completely different when it comes to golf tournaments. She has only two top-10 finishes to speak of.
The first came in Kraft Nabisco Championship, where she scored 282 points and was placed in the 8th position. Later on, she managed a tie for the 9th position at Mobile Bay LPGA Classic. She scored 277 points.
With this record, experts say that Paula Creamer has a better chance of making it big in the Evian Masters. As for Gulbis, many predict a top-20 tie at best.
