Paula Creamer happy with her new golf swing

Paula Creamer is happy that her new swing is working for her, as she showed her skills in the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup this Sunday.

The event played at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge’s Wildfire Golf Club, Phoenix, concluded with a flurry of excitement, with Creamer holding her head high.

The American prodigy played amazingly well, carding an overall 281.

Although her fans appreciated her for her decent performance in the event that pitted fearsome contenders against each other, Creamer herself knew what made her feel especial on the course.

Creamer attributed her better-than-anticipated form to her new swing that she has been practising for the last few months.

Since the field of the RR Donnelley Founder Cup features LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) titans, like the current world number one Yani Tseng, putting her trust in her swing was enough for Creamer.

Creamer said she has been training hard and concentrating on her golf swing.

She pointed out that she was not able to make certain swings a few months back, but thanks to some much-needed changes to her style, she is seeing results.

Swing had been a problem for the world number six for a long time, as she had trouble getting more length off the tee.

She claimed that ever since she had adopted the change, her length woes have been solved to a great extent.

Creamer kicked off the tournament in an impressive style, as she fired 69 in the first round.

Although she could not make it to the top-3positions on the leaderboard, she managed to score enough to keep her in the top-20.

"I can't tell you how many nine-footers, inside 10 feet I've had today. I would say a good 11, 12,” Creamer said after the end of the match.

"Unfortunately I three-putted eight, my 17th hole, and didn't finish in a sense great in that way, but the more I give myself the chances, the better I feel confidence-wise over the putts".

Winning $17,658 might not have helped her eclipse Yani Tseng and Na Yeon Choi, who finished third, Creamer has proved that she can bounce back in the game in the upcoming events slated to be played this season.
