Paula Creamer reaches out to rising stars with financial support
The LPGA star Paula Creamer, who is best known among her fans mostly for her amazing skill on the course, has been providing financial and mental support to young kids seeking to rise to the top.
Paula Creamer has been a prominent player on the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association), with a number of victories in prestigious tournaments.
However, her career is not limited to the course, as she is investing heavily in future stars in order to help them progress.
Creamer has been able to pocket a whopping $9 million thanks to her stunning performance in different events. Best of all, the American prodigy is well aware of how to make the most of her money.
Creamer recently spoke to the media and shared her thoughts about what she has been doing for young kids.
She said that she is an avid supporter of kids and likes to help them grow in their professional lives.
She has been involved in a number of programmes that focus on kids’ education and mentoring.
"If you ask me who's Paula Creamer, the golfer, I'll tell you I'm the player who wants to give back to kids as much as I can," she told CNN Mexico.
She said that she has kept in touch with several young talents and has been giving them much-needed financial help.
She was of the view that, despite playing on the LPGA and prestigious tournaments, she has not been swayed. That is why her peers and competitors have always patted her back for what she has been doing off the course.
Bringing young kids to golf is her aim, as it is becoming increasingly crucial for the sport’s patrons to pay attention to this aspect.
"It's one of the most humbling experiences I've ever had," the world No. 6 said.
"There's more to the game when you're playing in front of kids. Golf is about the young kids, it is about growing the game, letting it play 100, 200 years from now".
One of the kids Creamer is supporting is Julie Steinbauer. Steinbauer heaped praise on Creamer, saying that she has been a great help in her golf.
