Paula Creamer set to take on rivals at Ohio this week

American Paula Creamer, who won the 2008 Jamie Farr Toledo Classic in grand style, is ready to take on rivals at the upcoming edition of the tournament, set to be staged from August 9-12, at Highland Meadows
Golf Club, Ohio.
Creamer is expected to display a good performance at the prestigious LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) tournament, as she has been seeking to end her protracted victory drought since she kicked off
the 2012 season.
Although she has not been able to work her usual magic this year, analysts have said that the American star can capitalise on crowd support and her vast experience of the course and the tournament.
So far, things have been a bit messed up for Creamer, as she came close to clinching a victory in some of the recent tournaments. However, she has not been able to surprise her fans.
Analysts said that Creamer can prove to be a tough contender at the 2012 Jamie Farr Toledo Classic, given her solid track record and the support American fans are about to give her when she sets foot on the
Meadows Golf Club this Thursday.
The tournament’s roster is quite strong, as it will be graced by stars like Stacy Lewis, defending champion Na Yeon Choi, current world number one Yani Tseng, Suzann Pettersen, Cristie Kerr, Ai Miyazato, Mika
Miyazato and I.K. Kim.
Na Yeon Choi, who is likely to remain in the spotlight this week, can pose a serious challenge to big names. Hailing from South Korea, Choi has been playing well in the current season and the upcoming battle
is likely to see her play her best game.
Speaking to the media about what she has planned for the $1.3 million tournament, Choi said she is confident to defend her title, as the victory in the 2010 edition of the tournament helped her boost morale.
She went on to say that thanks to her victory at the 2010 Jamie Farr Toledo Classic, she participated in the US Women’s Open 2012 with plenty of confidence and finally won her first major title.
“I was very excited being in Korea after the US Open win. All my family and friends and media there were waiting for me in the airport and everybody was welcoming me,” the LPGA star said.
