the Brazilian side.
Even though Chelsea are leading the race for the 21-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder, he seems to be keen on a move to Italy. The youngster was recently asked about his preference of making a move abroad and he expressed his desire of wanting to play
in the Serie A.
Ganso said while speaking to reporters, “I want to play in Italy because I have always been interested in the country, from when I was a child. Right now though I am focused on Santos, the Libertadores and the finals of the [state championship] Paulista”
However, he insisted he was currently focused on leading his current club to trophies, with Santos in good shape to win the Copa Libertadores. Ganso has made a total of 107 appearances for Santos since joining the club in 2005 and has scored 24 goals in
all competitions.

Chelsea have not given up on signing the 17-year-old Anderlecht striker Romelu Lukaku and are reportedly set to bid £18 million for the youngster in the upcoming summer transfer window. Lukaku has recently emerged as one of the most exciting and sought after
players in Europe after his recent displays for the Bulgarian side.
He has often been compared to 33-year-old Chelsea hit-man Didier Drogba, earning the nickname “the new Drogba”. So far Lukaku has been linked with the likes of La Liga giants Barcelona and English Premier League sides Manchester United and Arsenal. However,
as things stand, the Blues are currently favorites to sign the Belgian international.
Lukaku himself hinted on a move to England in an interview, “I'm flattered to be compared to a great striker like Didier but I insist on being my own player. My style is best suited to the English Premier League, so a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 is more likely than
a switch to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 or anywhere else in Europe.”
Lukaku has been in excellent form and has been crucial to his side’s success domestically; he managed to find the back of the net 37 times in 85 games. With the Blues in desperate need of striker, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicolas-Anelka-c27786 close to retirement,
Lukaku can be guaranteed of first team football at Stamford Bridge alongside http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707.
The Spaniard, who arrived in London for a record breaking fee of £50 million from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in the January transfer window, has failed to strike up a successful partnership with Drogba. The Ivorian is expected to leave in the summer, making room for new
arrivals. Lukaku is expected to be one of them, if the Blues bid for the player is accepted.
