Pausing a clip shut down after a minute

Hello,When I press "Pause" button on the listening clip and return after a minute shuts down the MP3 player. So I looses the place where I was listening. ThenI have to listen to a clip from the start.Could you please let me know if it needs any kind of upgrade? or any anything else??Thanks, SM
