Pavillion DV1000 will not boot. The laptop will not boot, no power. I have followed the HP

The laptop will not boot, no power. I have followed the HP troubleshooting guide, reseated the memory module and that seemed to work for an hour or so. I moved the HP and it shut down. Now it will not power up at all. Would like any suggestions b/4 taking in for repair.
