Pavlik 'The Ghost' denies being an alcoholic: Boxing News
The United States Boxing journalist, Kevin Lole has spoken the words that anyone can easily believe what has been said about Kelly Pavlik. The former middle-weight champion, Pavlik has been criticised many times in his career for his alcohol abuse and being
around the seedier parts of the town mostly with less-than desirable figures.
Pavlik has already gone through the toughest inspection by the individuals of his home town at Youngstown in Ohio.
Pavlik is the most famous sports personality of his city, but he is always end up in trouble or confusion to seek out the false statements made for him. He has complained several times about that rumours to the boxing authorities, but all in vain. He is
still having these kinds of problem with board to deal with.
The Ghost is still struggling to overcome his alcohol usage, so that he could be fit enough to perform longer in the boxing arena.
Pavlik said on last Friday attending to conference call, “I just needed to kick it in the a*s before things started going bad, to where I started losing my money, to where I started losing my family, losing my house and things like that. Unfortunately, that’s
one of the horrible things that come with the consequences that come with addiction. I didn’t want it to get that far.”
“I worked too hard in my life to get where I am now that I didn’t want it to get out of control to that point. Boxing has been a very big part of my life since I was nine years old, Alcohol isn’t.”
Pavlik has sacrificed a lot to have these types of issues, but he is so humble to handle them that he never tried to use the words alcoholism or addiction but an effort to clarify them.
The Ghost is still the one of the rising boxing star who belongs to a very small city. He is a talented young guy with good set of boxing skills. There is no denying the fact that one day he could be the champion of this division if he remained active by
dominating others.
