Pavlik vs. Trinidad?

I thought this was another big name rumor, but Arum his promoter has confirmed it, and I think Don King didnt deny it either so it seems all go. Well after seeing Trinidad against Jones and now Pavlik against Taylor, I dont see how Trinidad can match up?

Trinidad can't match up but the Pavlik camp probably wants an easier match for Pavlik because he has had two tough outings against Taylor.

Yeah, There is no way that Trinidad can beat Pavlik because he was outboxed by a 39 year old Roy Jones, and I suspect that a 25 year old, strong , in his prime fighter like Pavlik would not have much trouble with Trinidad at this stage of his career.  The only top middleweight that Trinidad ever knocked out was William Joppy and Pavlik is lightyears better than Joppy and he has a good chin and whenever he's been down, he's always gotten up.  Plus, Trinidad could barely make 170 pounds, so now he would have to sweat down 10 more pounds and who knows if he could do that.  If it does happen, I got Pavlik by knockout.

I hope and pray that this wont happen. Bad match up, wouldn't prove anything, no WAY Tito wins. Whats the point?

This fight will probally not happen since Tito's father stated that his son would not go down to the middleweight  160 lb's.,and Kelly's manager Bob Arum stated that the fight would only take place at middle.Personally I want to see Pavlik stay at 160 for a while before eventually moving up.This would be an interesting match though.

Man trinidad is a very good boxer but after seeing what Roy jones did to him its pretty obvious that Pavlik would kill him. It wouldn't even be a close fight. For trinidads sake I hope that fight doesn't happen
