Pavlyuchenko declares Redknapp’s lack of interest in him
The Russian International at White Hart Lane, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Pavlyuchenko-c31639 has just declared his desire to make an away move from the London club Tottenham Hotspurs.
He informed of this latest development while talking to media. The Tottenham striker also stated that there were zero chances of the move now, as the January transfer window this fall has expired, extending his stay with Spurs until the end of the season;
however he is indeed planning a move this summer.
The 29-year-old Pavlyuchenko has hit a slump this season. While he has managed to score a couple of stunning goals, constant injuries have dogged him around. This resulted in lesser time on field and slowly the forward grew out-of-favour in the eyes of his
Manager, Harry Redknapp.
The Englishman, boss of White Hart Lane has been trying to obtain a couple of strikers; hence, the transfer seems imminent. While Hotspurs’ main strikers have either been out-of-form or been benched due to injuries, their midfield has stepped up to take
the goal-scoring job. Even after loaning out former skipper and striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robbie-Keane-c31215 to West Ham United, the club is still in the top half of the table, eyeing a finish in the top 4.
On the other hand, former Spartak Moscow player Pavlyuchenko has been lambasting against his Manager Redknapp, saying that he has clearly presented the Russian’s lack of necessity at the English club.
While talking to media the forward exploded, “The way I see it, the manager just doesn't trust me and it doesn't matter if I play well, score goals or try my best in training - nothing will make him change his mind about me. So I'm not going to extend my
contract, which expires at the end of next season, and will try to leave the club over the summer transfer window.”
He added, “Even when I do play well or score a goal, I don't get a chance in the next game. Quite frankly, I'm fed up with sitting on the bench and waiting for my chances. The last two matches I was totally healthy but still didn't get even the smallest
chance, even during our team's 4-0 drubbing by Fulham.”
Pavlyuchenko has recently recovered from a disturbing groin injury; however, he is irritated by his Manager for ignoring him for quite some time now.
