Pay as you go phones.?

hey guys, can you use the pay as you go phones like tracfone or any other phone like it if you live in egypt? like, if i send my boyfriend who is in egypt one from here, can he use it there to call me or anyone over there?

you can but only if the phone takes a sim card.

then once the phone is ove there he will have to take a simcard from overthere and teh service there to be able to use it. most prepaid phones from the us will not work in another country. heck most phones from the us prepaid or not will not work in another country.
