  1. What’s up?

Your question is pretty interesting, because I think it depends a lot on what your definition of creative is. Of course some really creative options would be to have a ton of bake sales, or car washes, or dog walking sessions, or babysitting nights, but they probably won’t raise you enough money in time for the fall semester. Just working in general is a great option to cut costs. And of course you can search, search, search for any scholarships that may be available to you. (There are actually some pretty wacky and creative ones out there) Your school may have some suggestions, they may not be creative, of course, but they will be practical. Definitely apply for FAFSA, again, not particularly creative, but it can definitely help. And private loans are another option that can help a lot. Try and have a good co-signer and you can usually get approved very easily. Make sure to know your options when looking for a loan and try not to pick the first one that comes your way: comparing offers can help tons! You may be interested in checking out http://www.TuitionBids.com , a site I represent, which lets you compare offers from up to six different lenders after only applying once.

I’m kind of stumped for ideas after that, but hopefully some of what I suggested can help!

Good luck on your creative search,

    -Lauren

  2. Have you try to get a scholarship? Each scholarship provider has different requirements. Maybe you can go to

    it's about scholarships information.

    Good luck

  3. Not sure what you mean exactly.

If your parents don't make that much money, there is always free financial aid. There are also low-interest federally subsidized loans that any college student can obtain.

If you want to work to pay for college, my advice is to learn to wait tables and maybe even bartend once you turn 21. Part-time and without a degree, serving is the best bang-for your buck job.

  4. The United States Army, it will pay for your college tuition and fees.
