Pay over $300 for shower base with a rear drain or relocate my drain to the center?

  1. Spend the $300.00 and it's done.

    I wouldn't have my slab chopped up, and then you have to buy a pan anyway.


  2. Spend the $300, it'll be cheaper than hiring a plumber to saw up your slab, move the drain, and repour the slab. And you still need to by a shower base anyway...

  3. Relocate the drain it will probably need to be replaced anyway if this is a replacement shower.The concrete could probably be chipped out in less than an hour and need not be repoured if you're using a basin to cover the area. Looks like less than $300
