Im Canadian and I'm buying from an American.

Is there any problem with this?

What will happen with the exchange rate?

Any other details or anything that I can do please tell me.

  1. Nope, shouldn't be a problem it happens all the time.

    Paypal will register two or three different entries related to this transaction (mainly to exchange the money) and you may have to pay some duty if the item crosses the border (A LOT of duty if it is sent UPS) and it will take a few weeks for the item to get to you, but otherwise it should be fairly simple.


  2. No problem with buying from an American.  I buy items from Hong Kong all the time!

    If you are buying on ebay believe that paypal will convert the money for you.

    On their website it says they have a conversion tool for buyers.
