I read on one suppliers website that they only accept UK or US based PayPal accounts!

I thought PayPal was international banking via the internet regardless of location?

Does one have to give a physical address?

What are the rules for

a)Paying

b)Receiving

thanks!

  1. Joining paypal, you set up an account, in the next week, two small amounts of money will be deposited to your account to check that you have given them the right account, after this is done and all is set up you can deposit money from a credit card or survey club or withdraw the money when its cleared, I have done it and its perfectly safe, I live in australia, you have to give them your branch code then bank account details, what type of account you are using etc., they send you like 2 or 3 cents and you have to tell them what was deposited and when, then they know that they have the right account, I've had no problems at all, money transferred into my account and no waiting time, but thats here, hope this helps you, goodluck! :)

  2. I would suggest you check these links so that you'll know how it works:

    https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr...

    http://computer.howstuffworks.com/paypal...

    http://netforbeginners.about.com/od/ebay...

    good luck!

  3. Froggie is telling you how to become a verified member .

All you need to open a basic account is a credit card and yes you need an address.

As for different branches...just like Yahoo it is different in different countries , but still the same ie : .com , .ca , etc
