Question:

PayPal - fraudulent ebayer - confused about refund... help?

I have been unlucky enough to have dealings with a fraudulent ebayer -- I paid for an item and have waited 30days but still not rec'd.

So I opened a dispute with paypal against the seller and this was escalated to a claim.

Paypal have reviewed the claim and decided in my favour and said that the money is being refunded.

Now on my paypal account if I go into history it says the ebayers name and 'reversed' under status it says 'completed' but under details it has nothing...

My question is - when will I receive this money? Will it be 5 to 7 working days as before? Orrrr...? And will it go into my paypal account or straight into my bank account?

Please help!

  1. Your refund will go back into paypal. you can then transfer that to your bank account. We have had similar situations and 90% of the time, when a buyer opens up some sort of claim, paypal sides with the buyer. If you didnt receive your item, Paypal will take the money back from the seller and give it to the buyer almost always. When you see that it says reversed, that means that paypal reversed the whole transaction and is giving you your money back. You should receive it very soon.
