Paycheck deductions for teens??

Hello there! I live in Texas and Im going to make about $665 on my next paycheck and Im reporting myself single. My work doesnt take anything else out like health benefits, etc. But I want to know approximately how much do they deduct if your reporting yourself single?? All I know is that if your married or with kids they dont deduct as much.

  1. If you are an employee, your employer must deduct FICA taxes and income tax from your pay check.

    If you are an independent contractor, then employer will not deduct FICA taxes and income tax. You are responsible for paying your own SE taxes.

    Federal $74.65

    SS $41.23

    Medicare $9.64

    Net Pay $539.48

    or thereabouts based on Single 1.

    Single 2 would give you more if you have only one job. But you get less at the end of the year.
