  1. yes you can have pics hosted somewhere else.

    They charge the 15 cents as they are banking on people's ignorance on the matter and they make lots of money on it.


  2. Don't pay eBay for hosting pictures

    Use Photobucket http://www.photobucket.com and other free photo services. Simply link to the picture from your eBay listing. In your Sell the Item section, put in the HTML for your description a link to the photo:

    <img src="http://www.URLofPhoto.com">
