Paying a fine by mail?

i live in new york, queens county, i got a $25.00 fine for being on the beach after 9 pm . does anyone know if i can pay by mail. i dont want to take a day off from work

Well, since you know what the fine is I would think you can just mail it in. If the summons is an appearance ticket, then you have to show up in court. Your best bet would be to call the court officer and ask if you have to appear or can you just pay the fine.
