My boyfriend is paying off my Macy's balance and I was wondering if he can use his Mastercard to pay it off? Or is it only debit cards you can use?

  1. Generally most stores wont allow to pay credit with credit.  Maybe the best thing to do is consider the interest on a personal loan and consolidate all your credit/store cards together and only pay off one loan.

  2. as the woman on the top said its a bit risky...think of all the extra interest you will be using paying credit with credit!!

  3. He can call the company that he has his Master Card through and ask if he could do a balance transfer.  Most credit card companies offer this 2 through 3 times a year with anywhere from 0% up to 7% for a period of time.  There is also a charge to transfer the balance so your boyfriend needs to find out this informantion before he agrees to anything.  Hope this helps.

  4. DONT DO THAT!  If you do not have the cash to pay it, you could consider rolling it onto a 0% transfer card...and then commit to paying it off in the 12 or 24 months alotted to do so.  DO NOT pay it with another credit card.  A personal loan is only a good idea if you can get a smaller interest rate.
