and stop paying attention if I'm not interested. The problem is, that sometimes I need to pay attention even if I'm not interested. I start solving other problems and figuring out how things work and stuff like that instead of, for example, listening to someone's narration. What can I do to keep my mind from going somewhere else? Any ideas? Thanks!

  1. I find it easier if I'm taking notes.  The mental process of figuring out what to write down about what someone is saying helps to keep my mind from wandering.  It forces me to mentally digest what they are saying, and decide what the important points are because I can only write so fast.

  2. I do this all the time because I would rather not worry of every ones issues besides mine.

It's easy to correct every ones defaults and avoid mine right? This is confusing because people constantly advise those to worry of there own unsolved mysteries, yet, there's complaints when judging  and advising not, on someone narration. What gives?

    Which is it?

you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  4. there are several sites about mindful awareness that you can find with a quick google search.  It is a buddhist principle that teaches calming of the mind and focus on your surroundings.  No hokey stuff just real exercises and thought tools to learn how to really focus.  It's awesome if you can do it and it is something that is a lifetime skill.
