My car went unregistered back in Oct. I owe about $150 in back taxes which I am going to pay tomorrow. Do i need any paperwork from DMV to be signed when I pay the taxes, or can I just go to town hall and then to DMV? I kinda remember DMV giving me a form the last time I was there but I cannot remember what it was. Tomorrow is the only day I have to do this. I want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row if you will... Thnaks!!!

  1. I don't think you need anything from the DMV first, since you won't be able to register the car until the taxes are paid.  So I would start first thing in the morning in case they give you the run around but I think you will just need to pay the taxes then go to the DMV.  Good luck!  :)

  2. Gather up your insurance card to prove you're covered by insurance, your title to prove it's your car, and the receipt for the $150 in back taxes, and head for the DMV.
