Paying by paypall why does it take so long?

Hi i have used paypall once and when i go to pay e bay sellers they say it take to long to clear why does it do this and is there another quicker way to pay i dont have credit cards

It's beacause you are using a bank account rather than a credit or debit card. Either use a debit card, or transfer some cash into your Paypal account & leave it there. Either way, payments will then be made instantly.

it can take ages if you havent got a properly registered card on your account, as it gets transferred as an echeque. some use the excuse rather than actually checking.

The main reason is blatenly staring you in the face isnt it? The longer they drag out a payment from A to B the more the funds sits in there bank account and therefore they get intrest on our money!

It takes 3-7 working days whether you pay by bank or credit card. It's the safest way to pay on eBay, I've used it for years with no hassles as a buyer and seller.

It always takes ages for me and I have a premier account... they are c**p!

If you are using a Debit Card or have funds in your Paypal account it will be instant.  If you don't have either of the above it will be an e-cheque & this takes ages (up to 5 working days).

Do you have money in your paypal account? It might take a few days if you are paying by transferring money from your bank account to paypal and then them.  It goes through as an e-check which I believe take 3-4 business days to go through.  You could fund your paypal account so when you buy something you just need to transfer it and it will go immediately.
