Paying for a flight for someone else in another country?

Hi, I feel stupid asking this because I'm almost certain you can, I just want to double check.

In two weeks time I'm visiting my dad who lives in the UK but I'm flying to Georgia to see him, and I've been told that I need to pay for the flight and he'll give the money to me when I get there... this is a huge problem because I can't get my hands on $450 in the given time frame.

So is it possible for him to pay for the ticket, and for me to pick it up at the airport (I'm flying from Phoenix AZ)?

If so, how would he or I do this?

Also, I'm only 15, so would my mom need to get involved with this?

He can book the flight online, pay for it, and then forward you the confirmation email. Print that out and bring it with you to the airport, where you can check in to your flight and then receive your boarding passes.

Have your mom at the airport with you until it's time for you to go through security. The airline will have someone to meet you at your gate to help you with finding your connecting flight and to "keep an eye on you" until you board the next flight. You'll be supervised the whole time.

Yes, he can purchase the ticket for you either on the phone or online. You will either receive your itinerary and or tickets in an email form or regular old fashion mail. You will need your ID when checking in, and thats basically it! He just needs to make sure when he purchases the ticket he puts your name on the flight and not his!! I would suggest that he call the airline that he would want to put you on and explain what he is trying to do with them. They will definitely take care of him and you! I have never had a bad experience when calling an airline to  book a flight! Hope this helped! Have fun with your dad!!
