Paying for a job at the post office?

well i'm going to get a job to work at the post office when i went to apply they told me that i need to pay 125 dollars the get a training packed. so i was wondering if that is true or are they just Trying to scam me and if it true can you tell me what i'm going to get when it comes.

  1. I know you have to pay for their exam but that sounds like  alot (it should be around $20 to take the exam), and taking the exam does not guarantee a job.  Did you try to sign up on line?  This really sounds like a scam.  You should go to your local Post office and ask them how you sign up for a exam and when they will be holding the next one.  The only way you can get a postal job is to pass the state exam


  2. Sounds like a scam.  Ask what the packet contains.  Make sure it's just not application forms that you could have got yourself for free online.  Anytime a company charges money for you to apply for a job, you should walk away.
