Paying for a job at the post office?

well i'm going to get a job to work at the post office when i went to apply they told me that i need to pay 125 dollars the get a training packed. so i was wondering if that is true or are they just Trying to scam me and if it true can you tell me what i'm going to get when it comes.

I know you have to pay for their exam but that sounds like  alot (it should be around $20 to take the exam), and taking the exam does not guarantee a job.  Did you try to sign up on line?  This really sounds like a scam.  You should go to your local Post office and ask them how you sign up for a exam and when they will be holding the next one.  The only way you can get a postal job is to pass the state exam

Sounds like a scam.  Ask what the packet contains.  Make sure it's just not application forms that you could have got yourself for free online.  Anytime a company charges money for you to apply for a job, you should walk away.
