Poll: Does anyone else besides me that paying to shop at places like Costco and Sam's Club is the stupidest thing ever? Why in the world would anyone pay just to step inside a store to buy their groceries?

  1. some people think the 40-50 membership fee is worth the opportunity to buy food for a year at a much cheaper price

  2. I pay and I save later.  We have a lot of big parties and do camping trips a lot.  Buying in bulk is a life saver!  Also, kids eat a lot, so it comes in handy when buying their lunch and snack stuff also.  Plus I can get a discount on my glasses.

  3. because its a minimal amount and compared to the savings you get, its a bargain if done correctly.  the idea is to save money soo...

  4. No, I disagree. It's worth it for some people, like those with big families, because you pay a yearly fee but you get your products bulk so they are slightly cheaper. Do a price comparison for an entire year and you end up saving hundreds of monetary currency (whichever that may be).

  5. the 40.00 you spend once a year to shop there is worth what you save by buying bulk. not everything is cheaper tho. dairy is alot cheaper there but i don't find the meat prices to be great or the bulk candy prices. for instance it is 16.00 to buy a big box of reeses peanut butter cups. it comes out to 40 cents per 2 pack. longs sells the for .33 whereas milk is 2.85 there but 3.79 at safeway. non food items are always a good buy.

  6. you have to pay for anything becaue this world is of money. you cant be born or die without money.
