Paying toll road fees in California?

I live in San Diego CA. I ran thru a toll lane booth in Hwy 125 and did not pay the fee. Where do I go to pay? I know that if I pay within the next 24 hours, I just have to pay the cost of the fee, but no penalty charge. Please help :)

  1. haha i know what highway you're talking about. some on ramps have an automated toll booth right before you get on the freeway. if you didn't see any toll booths, don't worry about it. otherwise, you're getting a ticket in the mail with a court date n stuf; they have pictures of your car and license plate.

i once took the toll road in orange county (73 north i think?). i didn't encounter any toll booths when i got on, and exited before i reached any. i then got a ticket in the mail, disputed against it, and won.

  2. You can call South Bay Expressway Customer Service Center (619-661-7070) within 48 hours and pay your toll plus an administrative fee of $2.00 over the phone with a credit/ debit card; or walk into the Customer Service Center (1129 La Media Road) and pay in person.
