Paypal, paid ebay item but it is still being processed through PayPal.?

Question

Normally, when i pay with paypal, i receive a notice right away that the payment is completed. So yesterday i bought some thing on Ebay and paid right away, but surprisingly a day after, the payment is still being processed through paypal, normally it goes through right away, without any problems. I emailed the seller and havent received an answer yet, and no i am not using e-checks. What do you think is happening?

Check to see if your debit\credit card expired on the account.  This happen to me last November and I couldn't understand why my payments were going out as eChecks (which take 4 business days to process).  This could very well be what happened.

Your seller didn't have it set up to automatically accept.  If you don't have a Premier account, you can't accept payments.  So either the seller hadn't yet upgraded to a Premier account or just hadn't yet accepted payment.  Happens to me all the time when you don't buy from a store but a person.
