Paypal ebay = help me!!

ok so im selling items on ebay and its my first time. i am using paypal. so my question is.... how do i know if the money's sent and how do i know if they are giving me money? im a first time user so the more information the better. ebay is confusing!

I haven't sold anything on Ebay, I have purchased. It's all done by email. You will be notified when someone buys, you send an invoice and they pay using pay pal. When they process the invoice to pay you , you get an email that the money is in your account.   I think that is how it works.  When I send an email asking for money, I get an email when it has been sent.

paypal will send you a email telling you so-so has paid you

You should get a heads-up email when a Paypal payment is made. You can also go to your Paypal account and check there.
