I just got money sent to my paypal from someone. I transfered it to my bank and I looked at my balance on my bank website and the money isnt there. I looked at the paypal and the status says the transfer was completed two days ago. SO wheres my money? who do I talk to about the money not being in my bank?

  1. Start by calling your bank.  They may have a hold policy where they have to verify the money with Pay Pal first.

If the bank hasn't received a transaction at all then contact Pay Pal customer service.  You should keep in mind though that it takes up to 7 days for the money to actually get to your bank account.  Hopefully you kept track of the transaction numbers from when you requested the money and they will probably want some sort of written notice from your bank that the funds never showed up (to prove you aren't trying to scam them).

  2. Transfering money from PayPal into your checking account takes 3-4 days (although mine always seem to take only 3).

Log onto your PayPal account , and under My Account, click "Withdraw".

The screen comes up with the different ways you can withdraw funds. The first one (..funds to your bank account), has a " ? " by the processing time...click it, and it will pop up a calendar, so you can figure exactly when your $ will hit your bank acct.

For instance, if you did the Paypal transfer on Wed before 5pm PST, then it will be in your bank account the next Monday by 5pm.

Here's a direct link to the calendar...but not sure if it will work if your not logged in.
