  1. Don't worry about it.  Credit cards are registered as a "back up" payment incase you have insufficient funds in your bank acct.  Paypal automatically charges your credit card when that happens.  But since you don't have a credit card, there's nothing to charge the payment to.  You probably just got a standard/canned message from paypal.  Try paying again with your bank acct. now that there's money in it.

  2. I understand.. I've been a member of Paypal for years.  Go to the paypal website.  Go to CONTACT US.   Keep going until you get to a phone number.  You will get a confirmation code that is good for 1-2 hours (to verify that it is really you that is calling).  CALL THEM.  They are very helpful and will clarify it all to you and get it straightened out.   ..   Did you ever pay by paypal with your bank issued VISA - DEBIT card?  If so, that could be the card they are referring to.  Check your bank statement also and see if the funds have been withdrawn.  Call them.  Don't wait, the longer you wait, the more it might escalate (in  your $$$$)!  Good Luck.

  3. ok paypal has ways of tacking on fees pay what you owe and donot use them and dont pay them late as 6mos down the road they are gonna want intrest pay them everything you owe and dont ever use them again
