Paypal help?

Question

I have paypal account with mom's cc attached. I have like $44 on there. Well should I get a paypal card so I can use it whereever I want? I need a bank account though.. What are good sites to buy stuff via paypal? Is selling on ebay good, and mailing the buyer the item? How do people know about your auctions? Should I sell everything I have? No one is buying on craigslist.

I requested a check for $6 a week ago, and it has not come yet, how do I know when it is coming? any tracking ways?

This sounds pretty fishy to me.  If you have an account with your moms cc, on paypal, as long as you have the user name and password you can get the money out or use it.  

It doesn't matter what site you use paypal on, it has nothing to do with the site.  Ebay is fine, if you don't mind the shipping fee.  Craigslist is better for selling items because people bring you cash to your home.  Do not accept any other form of payment from craigslist.com.  They do not regulate transactions.

You can sign up for Revolution Money Exchange without a bank account. They will send you a check.

Revolution Money Exchange is very similar to Paypal, but they don’t charge fees. They are giving out $25 to new account holders when you sign up. So as soon as you open your account, you have $25 to spend. I guess they are trying to compete with Paypal. You can sign up here.

Contact Paypals toll free number to ask them these questions.  You do need a checking account or debit card, or a credit card.  There are too numerous places that you can purchase online using Paypal as a payment method.  Selling on Ebay is alright, it used to be better, but is proving to be harder and harder for sellers.  If you go online to the Ebay site, you can ask questions on their forum or their questions tab.  If you are presently selling on Craiglist, then feel free to start selling on Ebay.

Can you get a bank account to link with Paypal?  We have a couple bank accounts linked to our paypal so we can transfer the money as we need it/want it.  Its so much faster to do it that way than to request a check and sit and wait for that.  That takes weeks!  Ebay is a great place to list your stuff.  Make sure your ad is clear and deatailed about your item.  Dont list your stuff to high starting, and dont sell it lowball either.  Try to get what you want for it.  The lower you start your item, the less it is to list it. You can always put a reserve price on it so it wont sell for less than that amount.  There are quite a few sites that you can use with Paypal to purchase items.  If you go to the paypal account it will list some of them under merchant accounts I believe.   Once again about paypal, requesting a check for $6 is probably not worth it unless you really want to take that money out of there.  Wait until it you get more to request a check, or get the debit card from paypal, that way you can use it anywhere that accepts the mastercard or visa, I forget which one it is.
