Paypal issue!!!this for real or fake!!!

Question

I have been charged $1.95

'Hello. I was signing up for paypal today, and to link and confirm my credit card, it has been charged $1.95 USD on Aug. 1. It was to be refunded back into my card if I linked the card correctly, but I closed my account the same day I created it because I couldn't stand the wait. So the question is, do I still have to pay the $1.95? And if I do have to pay, is it one time only and not monthly? As in, when I get my bill, I pay the $1.95 and I never get charged with a fee from paypal again? Any help would be appreciated

Again, my account is closed. I made two accounts with the same email actually, and closed them both prior to creating them. I was only able to link my credit card to one of them.

By the way, I contacted paypal by email about this. They did nothing but suggested I call them.

They are just seeing if your account is valid. The charge will be refunded you in a few days. Be wary....paypal screwed us big time. When you send something like if you sell something make sure you get a tracking number for your item. We didn't and we sent a final fantasy 7 game to some Asian *** in Washington state and he whined every day that he didn't get his item and filed a complaint and they tried to get us to pay it back. But we didn't haha.
