  1. As Hunter M said go to Paypal site and sign-up. But Mickie<3

always open the site with https://www.paypal.com. Then you KNOW FOR SURE that it is the genuine Paypal site. There are lots of phishing sites that look EXACTLY like the original but they are only out to steal your info.....and your cash. Also, remember, when Paypal contact you for whatever reason, they will ALWAYS refer to you by your name. For example,

"Dear Ms (whatever)....." These phishing sites refer to you as 'Dear client'. They (phishers) always come up with something like ".....It has come to our notice that that there has been unauthorized activity with you account....." etc. Then they will give you a (false) link to log-on to your account using your password. DO NOT DO IT ! As I said earlier, if you need to log-on to your Paypal account, ALWAYS but ALWAYS open it with https://  DO NOT FORGET THE 's' in https !!   Also, when you get these phishing mails (and you WILL) just forward the mail to spoof@paypal.com.

I hope this helps somewhat. And if you knew all this, I am sorry to have wasted your precious time.

    Anyway, good luck !

  2. Make sure you always go to http://www.paypal.com  NEVER click on a link in an email...  Just as said above.

When opening your account, you're going to want to get it verified by adding your bank account.  After adding in your information, two small deposits will be made into your account within 48-72 hours.  When they come in, go back to paypal and enter those two small amounts.  Then you're verified.

If you have a bank debit card, use it as backup funding so that you will have instant transfers and not have to wait on e-checks to clear...takes alot longer to get the item because they have to wait for your e-check to clear.

If you're wanting to sell things on ebay...some people want to pay with a credit card.  This is where you'll need a Premier Account instead of personal, however, they do take a small percentage of the money that was paid to you for an item someone bought from you.  It's something to think about.  I would rather be able to accept credit card payments and deal with the small fee, then have my customer have to go through and deal with getting the funds in their account.

    That's pretty much it...

  3. Go to PayPal.com and register but you need an email.
