Paypal signup?

when i try to signup for paypal it says my telephone is wrong format, how do you put it in?(example : 123-4567)

Are you including your area code as well?

I would think you just type in the 10 digits. If that doesn't work, try adding dashes:  x*x-x*x-xxxx

First, start over.  Make sure you're choosing the right country.  If you picked Germany and try entering a US phone number, it won't work.

Also, you do need to enter all 10 digits.  Your example only shows 7.  x*x-x*x-xxxx, or you can enter it without the dashes.

Finally, make sure the number you're entering is legit.  The registration form won't accept area codes or exchanges that don't exist.
