Pc help??-techs expecially

Question

i recently have done the update from windows vista home premium to windows ultimate. i did this by formatting the partition and installing it with the windows ultimate disk. only problem is... when i had the home premium it used to start up realy fast but now ive upgraded it seems to start up slower. The generral performance of my pc seems the same but the start up time is realy slow. i dont know if this is a common thing when formating a partition and ive tryed a number of things and it donst make no diffrence. i have 3GB of ram so it should be fast anyway. could any techs or pc whizzes help me or give me tips. i would greatly apriciate it if u added me on one of the instant messigers below and walk me though it

Vista Ultimate has more features than Home Premium so it is larger file to update it so it willl get faster

It will/should get faster wiht time few days - 2 weeks.

Vista notes down the programs you sue reguallry and learns to cache them on the RAM,( this is one of the reaosns why Vista uses up mroe ram thatn XP is cos it opens up progmras to speeed up PC)

However ti needs to relearn these progmras now that you have re-formateted the PC. so give it time and it shoudl speed up.

Also defrag the hard drive , you shoudl always fd otaht after you install an new OS or program.
