  1. You set this option through the Bios, but remember if you have limited RAM, like only 256 MB, better upgrade and then allot. Check your motherboard manual or the website to see how it is done.

  2. lol you can't do that.............

  3. what you mean is called shared memory. this depends on the graphics card if it's possible or not. integrated graphics chips take all their graphics memory from the main memory, whilst high end graphics card have their own memory.

for dedicated graphics cards NVIDIA calls it TurboCache memory and ATI calls it HyperMemory. the amount of shared memory that can be allocated to the graphics depends on the existing amount of main memory (this is valid for integrated graphics), in the case of ATI Hypermemory it's normally in the ratio of 1:1 (dedicated:shared).

some graphics cards using TurboCache resp. Hypermemory:

Nvidia: GeForce 7200, 7300, 7400, 8400, even the 8600 does support TurboCache but with todays amount of dedicated graphics ram this function can be disabled.

    ATI: X1300, X1400, X1600

here's an older article from Nvidia

    http://www.nvidia.com/page/turbocache.ht...

  4. you can't transfer RAM to your video card, and you can't transfer RAM to computer memory, since RAM is memory. Even if you're talking about making RAM HD space, you can't do that either.
