Pc not closing pages?

Question

When I open a page then want to close i keep getting a bling sound and doesn't allow the page to close and i can only keep going foward it wasn't doind this before and i've had the computer since December.just started doing it about 3 days ago and it's very frustrating.I've tried the 2 corner buttons to close and all it does is bling.then i guess when there are too many open pages it freezes and i have to restart but all the pages are still there.what can i do?I'm at my wits end aaaagggghhhhh.lol

start off by pressing Ctrl-Shift-Esc this will bring up the task manager go to processes and choose explorer.exe click end process then yes and wait for a min. This kills the pretty visual effect (big blue/silver/green bar) but should fix the problem. Then go to the top and choose file>>new task type in C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe

If that fails completly go online and get AdAware 2008 and scan for spyware. That is the only other possible explanation.
