Thanks for asking.  I'm with PC Connection's web team, and  hopefully the answer below addresses your question.

A P.O. (purchase order) number is your company's internal tracking number assigned to each of your PC Connection orders.

Each time you order from us, we assign an internal PC Connection number to each order, and you can link your company's P.O. number to this order number to help your own internal tracking purposes.  

When you log into our site, you can search for past orders by your internal P.O. or by the PC Connection order number.  You can also view your order history and see your P.O. plus our PC Connection number next to each other to help you access the info you need as quickly as possible.
